I’ve always wanted to paint wildlife and felt this particular painting needed to be done. We did a lot of research before I was able to do the painting. I want to say a special thanks to all the help I received from the wonderful people at the World Center Birds of Prey for their help. Without their willingness to answer questions and allow me into their archives I would have struggled to find the research necessary to paint.
